Well, in relation to playing (as opposed to slapping someone upside-the-head) surely it has to be Kumar Sangakkara. I've said this many times in the past - fine cricketer though he is, he STILL hasn't learnt how to protect his wicket at crucial times. I actually caught a bit of the IPL match yesterday :o (as I was relaxing on the couch after a hard workout and needed something in the background to nod off to :D ...fine snooze I had too  ..but ..I digress).

What a comical way to get out...one has to feel sorry for him (but :lmao: too)

He has done this many times playing for country too. Well set, then does something ludicrous to get himself out. He almost invents ways to get out. You would have thought that at the age of 32 and with his vast experience and supposedly brilliant cricket brain, he would have figured this out.

PS: Such a limp run 'chase', I don't think I have ever seen in any format of the game. Were KXIP even trying to win the game? :?

Petai, if you read properly (or indeed, knew how to read) - you would have seen that it was indeed strange for me to watch some of it...and that it did a great job of sending me to sleep (literally) :lmao:

Also, if yesterday's game was an advert for IPL, I definitely won't be tuning in in future. :lmao: :ok:

If you take my initial post as a wum, then that's an unintended bonus. Don't get too offended now petai. We all know how sensitive you guys are, after all :D

Life is a funny game itself. All leaders have ups and downs, some get banned, some get massacred, others end up crying, some end up victorious and etc. Get my drift old boy?

Shows how human Sanga is after all. He ain't god.

That was one stupid way of getting out though. It looked bloody ugly. :D

Finally, the topic has been stuck to. Not too much to ask, was it. :ok:

This should have been in the IPL section or the match thread.

So which team do you support bro? The one from the Sarf?

This is a general thread about players who throw it all away and is not IPL-specific; albeit this one uses a very recent example of a player blowing it in an IPL game but that's where it ends. Therefore it belongs on here. People are free to add their own.

I don't even watch it, let alone support a team. Yesterday was a rare occasion and even then I slept through most of it.
